Quick tips (the ones that actually help)
- Scan the top of the stack first. Side tiles look tempting, but clearing upward unlocks the most options.
- Hold onto your Hint. Burning it on the first tricky pair is the classic mistake — save it for when you are genuinely stuck.
- Count to four. Each tile exists four times on a 144-tile board. Before you match a pair, glance at where the other two copies are hiding.
- Treat Shuffle as a reset, not a rescue. It scrambles whatever is left, and that can wreck a position you were quietly winning.
- Bail when a layout is miserable. Switch shapes, no penalty. Confidence beats a deadlocked board.
- Clear matching pairs that expose new tiles. A pair that frees two more tiles is almost always better than one that frees none.
